Do you have an interest in the history of Rillington and Scampston?
Members of the Historical Rillington Study Group will be attending the Community Weekend at Scampston Walled Garden in the Conservatory on 21st and 22nd April.
We will present our extensive collection of old photographs of Rillington and its surroundings and there will be a short talks on aspects of local history. We are also excited to share our research on a variety of topics, including family stories, local businesses, occupations and industries and how children were educated.
If you have a story or image to share or simply want to know how the village looked in the past or who used to live in your street, please come and meet us, ask questions and explore!
