I found this article "Electric Power" and picture in a book titled:

RYEDALE

A REPORT ON THE DISTRICT

BY THE

RYEDALE BRANCH OF THE COUNCIL FOR THE PRESERVATION OF RURAL ENGLAND

I was hoping it would describe how life was transformed when electricity was delivered to the outlying communities but the focus seems to be more on the view of the countryside which could be spoint by the erection of overhead power lines.

Nowhere in the book is there a specific mention of the date of publication but it must be after the early '30s judging by some of the references.
